Set amid beautiful Red Rock mountains, buttes, and canyons, Sedona is one of Arizona’s most popular destinations. The scenery in every direction here is nothing less than stunning, with unrivaled views from every street corner and hiking trail. If you’re looking for things to do in Sedona, Arizona, you won’t be disappointed. There’s plenty to keep you busy, whether you’re into hiking, shopping, or just enjoying the stunning scenery.

One of the most popular hiking trails is the Sedona Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village loop. It’s a relatively easy hike, and you’ll be rewarded with some beautiful views. If you’re feeling more adventurous, the Boynton Canyon Trail is a great option. It’s a bit more challenging, but the views are even more amazing. No matter what your hiking level, you’ll definitely want to check out Bell Rock. This iconic red rock formation is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Sedona. It’s especially beautiful at sunset. Of course, you can’t visit Sedona without visiting Cathedral Rock, which is best viewed from Red Rock Crossing Park. You have the option to view it from below or hike up to it for an up close and personal experience.

Also known as a spiritual center, particularly for its energy vortexes, the city has a unique vibe. Attractions range from spectacular natural areas and scenic drives to Native American ruins, architecture, galleries, and sacred sites. To experience a uniquely Sedona attraction, visit a vortex- they are swirling centers of energy that are conducive to healing, meditation, and self-exploration. These are places where the earth seems especially alive with energy. Many people feel inspired, recharged, or uplifted after visiting a vortex. For some unique architecture the Chapel of the Holy Cross, built in 1956, is Sedona’s number one attraction and sits graciously atop the red rocks attracting visitors from all over.

If you’re looking for some great restaurants, Sedona has plenty to offer. Elote Cafe is a local favorite, serving up delicious Mexican food with a view. For something a little different, check out The Hudson. This restaurant specializes in American comfort food with a twist. For a divine breakfast experience right next to famous Coffee Pot Rock, visit The Coffee Pot Restaurant and Gift Shop.

For some retail therapy, Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is the perfect place to browse. This open-air shopping center is full of galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. You’re sure to find something special to take home. For a great selection of local boutiques and gift shops, stop by the Sedona Original Uptown Mall Plaza. You can shop for gifts and apparel and rest your feet while sipping coffee or taking a lunch break. Whether you’re looking for hiking, shopping, or dining, Sedona has something for everyone. So come and explore all that this city has to offer!
